Three jobs

Plow. Salt. Clear the walks.

  • A black pickup truck with a BOSS plow blade pushing snow through a lit parking lot during a night snowfallIllustrative image

    Plowing

Snow pushed off driveways and parking lots.

  • Close-up of a cleared dark walkway scattered with rock salt crystals, with snow banked on both sides and a blurred brick house behindIllustrative image

    Salting

Salt applied to pavement to melt ice and keep it from bonding.

  • A cleared brick-paver front walk and brick steps edged with snow, leading to a brick porch with a lit lamp and a black front doorIllustrative image

    Sidewalk clearing

Walks and entrances cleared so people can get in and out.

Snow work is three jobs. Plowing clears driveways and parking lots. Salting treats pavement so ice has a harder time bonding to it. Sidewalk clearing keeps the walks and entrances people actually use open.

We work for homeowners and for businesses. A house needs a driveway, a walk and the steps cleared. A commercial property needs the lot and the walks cleared so customers and staff can get in. Tell us which one you are and where, and we set up the right plan.

Snow season in Michigan

Snow can fall in Southeast Michigan from late autumn into spring, so a seasonal contract is arranged ahead of the first storm rather than during it. Send your request early and we follow up about the property and the plan.

How it works

Winter, three steps.

  3. 3

We clear what you signed up for

Good to know

Questions about snow removal

Do you clear snow for homes and for businesses?

Yes, both. Residential work covers driveways, walks and entrances. Commercial work covers parking lots and walks.

What is the difference between plowing, salting and sidewalk clearing?

Plowing pushes snow off driveways and lots. Salting is applied to pavement to melt ice and keep it from bonding. Sidewalk clearing is the shoveling or clearing of walks and entrances.

Are there rules about clearing sidewalks?

Many cities have them. Garden City's FAQ says owners must clear snow from sidewalks within 24 hours, and Dearborn Heights' ordinance page says snow and ice must be cleared within 24 hours. Check your own city's website for the current rule.

How do I sign up for a seasonal snow contract?

Send the quote form on this page, or call us, and say whether the property is a home or a business. We follow up to set up the contract.
