What services does Redwood Property Maintenance offer?

We offer seven services: lawn maintenance, hedge & bush trimming, seasonal cleanups, aeration & overseeding, custom landscaping, irrigation, and snow plowing. Each has its own page under services.

Do you do snow removal?

Yes, for homes and businesses: plowing, salting and sidewalk clearing. See snow removal and the snow season details.

Which towns do you serve?

We serve Garden City, Westland, Livonia, Dearborn Heights, Canton, Plymouth and Northville, Michigan. We are based in Garden City. If you are just outside those towns, send your request and we will tell you whether we can come out.

How do I get a quote?

Fill in the short form on any page or call (734) 890-4206. Tell us what you want done and where, and we follow up to talk through the job and give you a quote.

How much does lawn care cost?

It depends on the size of the yard, what needs doing and how often. We do not publish a price list because two yards that look alike can need very different work. Send your details and we quote the job in front of us.

Is this regular service or one-time jobs?

Both. Lawn mowing and maintenance is ongoing through the season. Cleanups, mulch, planting, aeration and larger projects are usually one-time jobs, and many customers add them to regular service.

What if I am not sure which service I need?

Choose "Not sure yet" on the form and describe the problem: a thin lawn, overgrown shrubs, a bed that never looks right. We will tell you what we would do and what can wait.

What should I include in my request?

Your name, phone number, town and the service you want. In the message box, add anything that helps: the size of the yard, a gate or a dog, plants you want trimmed or kept, a photo you like.

When should I book a spring or fall cleanup?

Spring cleanups start once the ground has thawed and dried out, usually April. Fall cleanups work best after most leaves have dropped, typically late October into November. See the seasonal questions for more.

Where can I read what customers say about Redwood?

On our Google profile, where we are rated 4.9 from 24 reviews. We link to it from the home page and the footer of every page.

What is the difference between a cleanup and lawn maintenance?

Maintenance is the regular rhythm: mowing, trimming and edging through the season. A cleanup is a one-time reset, clearing leaves, debris and dead growth, usually in spring and fall.

Do you plant flowers and design garden beds?

Yes. Custom landscaping covers planning new beds and planting areas around your property, and mulch installation finishes them.

Do you remove trees?

Our listed services are hedge and bush trimming and seasonal cleanups. If you need a tree removed or trimmed, describe it in your request and we will tell you honestly whether it is something we do.
